Reports directly to the Controller. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li> Process and post client payments, ensuring accurate and timely recording in accounting system</li><li> Manage collections process, including client communications and follow-up on past due accounts</li><li> Reconcile client accounts and investigate/resolve discrepancies</li><li> Generate and analyze AR aging reports</li><li> Process electronic payments and bank deposits</li><li> Support month-end close activities related to AR</li><li> Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications</li></ul> REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li> Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field</li><li> 2+ years of accounts receivable experience</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for general accounting tasks</li><li> Experience with accounting software</li><li> Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills</li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li> Professional demeanor for client interactions</li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li> Prior law firm or professional services experience</li><li> Experience with legal billing software</li><li> Working knowledge of Excel functions and reporting tools</li></ul> SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday-Friday 37.5 hour work week with flex time!
