Join our team and start a better life for yourself.What you'll be doing day to dayAs a Retail Store Associate, floating between various departments, contributing to a successful shopping experience, you will:<ul><li>Actively approach customers requiring additional help identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.</li><li>Keeps area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensures that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.</li><li>Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices, resulting in a better overall shopping experience.</li><li>Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.</li><li>Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety.</li><li>Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.</li><li>Flow product to final selling location.</li><li>Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.</li><li>Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.</li></ul>Together as a teamWe are the ones meeting our customers - in our stores, online, in our catalogue and beyond.
