Inspects and maintains emergency power equipment, tests/starts generator once a week and maintains equipment; ensure inspection and maintenance of fire alarm system to include testing system, fire doors, audible alarms, visible alarms(lights) and smoke detectors and records data on appropriate forms as required by state or facility; checks condition and readiness of extinguishers monthly; inspects and maintains lighting system throughout facility. Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs daily routine maintenance and repair on the facilities and equipment to include plumbing, sheet rock, electrical, carpentry, mechanical equipment repair, painting, sign making and changing, etc., Maintains general plant and facilities in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
