Description<div><div>Job Overview: As a Bartender, you’ll be responsible for assisting the Community Association Manager with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the community. This includes daily operation of the restaurant and bar, training new employees, to catering and special events.​ Your Responsibilities: <ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Strong understanding of house cocktails, specialty drinks, and bar operations</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Help servers with alcohol related menu questions.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Properly open and pour wine at the tableside​.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip to patrons​.</li></ul> Skills & Qualifications: <ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">GED or High School Diploma</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">At least 1 year kitchen experience</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Excellent verbal communication skills required</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. </li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul style="margin:0pt;padding-left:0pt"><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Reach with hands and arms.</li><li style="font-family:serif;font-size:10pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 26.5pt;padding-left:9.5pt;text-indent:0pt">Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.</li></ul> What We Offer: As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision.
