The City of Lebanon Golf Department is looking for a motivated Seasonal Maintenance Worker I to help maintain our municipal golf course and facilities.This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, operating equipment, and learning the fundamentals of golf course turf maintenance. What You'll Do:<ul><li>Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using hand-operated and riding equipment</li><li>Trimming and edging around bunkers, trees, cart paths, and buildings</li><li>Raking and maintaining sand bunkers and repairing bunker edges</li><li>Assisting with irrigation tasks such as watering, adjusting sprinkler heads, and reporting system issues</li><li>Maintaining flower beds, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas</li><li>Operating equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and utility vehicles</li><li>Assisting with course setup, including changing hole locations and moving tee markers</li><li>Collecting trash, cleaning restrooms, and helping maintain golf facilities</li><li>Performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment and assisting with light repairs</li></ul> What We're Looking For:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Individuals who enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods</li><li>Ability to operate or learn to operate turf maintenance equipment safely</li><li>A team-oriented attitude with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed</li><li>Strong attention to safety and detail</li></ul> If you enjoy outdoor work and want to help keep Lebanon's municipal golf course in excellent condition, we encourage you to apply! Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler, tool rentals). Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: • Identifying and selling products based on customer needs; • Explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; • Assisting customers in locating products; • Building customer relationships; • Identifying and resolving customer issues; • Zone recovery; • Housekeeping.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowes customer service policies, procedures and programs.Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary.Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.Writes customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs (Tool Rental Department).Cross-functionally trains in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Asset Protection.Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas.Maintains a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.Adheres to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties: top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, use of aisle blockers, a tether line on power equipment, spotters, and safety devices.Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler, tool rentals).Required QualificationsLess than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as:• Identifying and selling products based on customer needs;
• Explaining warranties, product features, and benefits;
• Assisting customers in locating products;
• Building customer relationships;
• Identifying and resolving customer issues;
• Zone recovery;
