Overview
Security OfficerThe Security Officers main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.Responsibilities<ul><li>Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Patrols marina and dock areas as assigned by management.</li><li>Stands post as assigned.</li><li>Prepares written reports relating to any problems or incidents within the marina and dock complex.</li><li>Maintains security and safeguards company property and assets as relates to the marina areas.</li><li>Adheres to all established hotel policies and procedures.</li><li>Reacts and assists on a timely basis to all emergency situations.</li><li>Performs any additional duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in hotel/casino security helpful.</li><li>CPR certificate preferred.</li><li>Ability to swim and water-related lifesaving skills helpful.</li><li>Good communications skills.</li><li>Current New Jersey drivers license required.</li><li>Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registration license upon hire.</li><li>Team Player with a guest first attitude.</li></ul>Pay Range

The Role: Enforces Company Security/Safety Regulations for Casino/Hotel. Ensures Gaming Regulations are always adhered to. Responsible for ensuring guest safety through surveying and watching the crowd at all times. Responsibilities: Works to prevent and resolve altercations among guests. Stops all inappropriate behavior immediately in a professional manner. Responsible for checking guests' identification to ensure they are age appropriate. Enforces capacity regulations. Maintains constant vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons, employees and company property. Responsible for accurate reporting and completing Incident Reports and/or other reports as necessary. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors. Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest's wins. Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist. Promotes Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: CPR or AED certified or ability to obtain certification required. Controlled Force/Handcuffing certified or willing to complete certification.
