<p>Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Site Manager, the Site Manager Assistant provides general maintenance and custodial services in accordance with the councils policies and standards. This position may cover for the Site Manager, as needed, during the Site Managers absence. This part-time, seasonal position (mid-April - October) is located at Camp Soni Springs in Three Oaks, MI. Pay is $20/hour, less taxes and other deductions.</p><p>Essential Duties:
Under the direction of the Site Manager, helps provide a comprehensive maintenance program for council properties and equipment.</p><ul><li>Perform maintenance and minor repairs and/or improvements at council facilities.</li><li>Maintain council buildings and grounds, which includes some custodial care, lawn mowing and snow removal.</li><li>Maintain assigned equipment and supplies in a neat, orderly and safe condition.</li><li>Monitors user groups and provides for their safety and security as needed.</li><li>Enforces all policies, procedures, and regulations including those of GSNI-M, ACA, county, state, and federal governments.</li><li>Assists in the support of programs for members and outside groups.</li><li>Other duties as assigned to meet the councils goals.</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li></ul><p>Knowledge and Experience:</p><ul><li>Experience in general maintenance, facility improvements, equipment, including farm equipment and grounds.</li><li>Experience in property management and working with volunteers is desirable.</li><li>Excellent judgment, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.</li></ul><p>Essential Skills:</p><ul><li>Maintenance skills including the operation of power equipment, basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills and knowledge of emergency procedures.</li><li>Valid drivers license, with good driving record and ability to drive tractor and truck with trailer attached.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours when needed, including weekends and evenings.</li></ul><p>Physical/Mental Essential Requirements:</p><ul><li>Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying (up to sixty (60) pounds).</li><li>Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.</li><li>Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.</li><li>Ability to perform physical labor, sometimes for extended periods of time.</li><li>Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product.</li><li>Work is performed primarily outdoors.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</li><li>Willingness to travel to various work and meeting locations to assist with maintenance activities.</li><li>Insurable under the Councils policy for driving and proof of personal vehicle insurance.</li><li>Dependable transportation is a must.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.</li><li>Occasional high stress may be experienced in dealing with staff and volunteers.</li><li>A commitment and passion for the Girl Scout Mission and an ability to effectively promote and communicate the Mission and Vision to external and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Willingness to become of member of GSUSA.</li></ul><p>Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to Diversity</p>

Seasonal Property Worker positions and their essential functions are as follows:</p><p>• Attendants:
Provides quality customer service at assigned property station.
The main responsibilities of this position include the collection of revenue from fees and permits, and cash/credit card handling duties.</p><p>• Concessions:
Provides quality customer service at concession stands, beach houses, or other locations as needed.
This includes the sale of location-specific items (firewood, food, rentals, etc.), handling cash/credit payments, collection of fees & permits, and inventory reporting.</p><p>• Housekeepers:
Works to maintain and clean property buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Duties include regular deep cleaning of restrooms, showers, and other property buildings.</p><p>• Laborers:
Works to maintain and repair property buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Laborers perform various duties based on property needs.
Possible duties may include landscaping, mowing, firewood processing, structure maintenance, sign creation, trail upkeep, carpentry, and plumbing, based on property needs.</p><p>• Office Assistants:
Answers inquiries about the property and provides quality customer service to the park visitors.
This position also assists property management with operations and administrative functions.</p><p>• Clerks:
Performs a wide variety of tasks to support property staff.
Duties may include inventory, stocking, reporting, budgeting, and assisting with other administrative duties.</p><p>• Security Officers:
Monitors the activities of visitors and reports problems to property management or other authorities.
Security Officers patrol the property and enforce regulations in a courteous, but firm manner.
This role provides security to facilities, construction sites, and logging operations as needed, including late-night visits to areas prone to vandalism, disturbances, and illegal activities.</p><p>• DOC Crew Supervisors:
Monitors the activities of individuals that are a part of the Department of Corrections work release crew and participates in labor duties as needed.
The supervisor also provides transportation for the crew.</p><p>• Shooting Range Officers (Brookville Lake Only):
