PAY RATE:           $18.00/HR QUALIFICATIONS:            <ul><li>Must be age 21 or older and qualify for a gaming license</li><li>Cannot be convicted of a felony</li><li>High School diploma or GED, and/or some college preferred</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos</li><li>Ability to write incident reports and to effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.  </li><li>Security, military, or police experience preferred</li><li>BSIS Guard Card, CPR First Aid Certificate, and ABC Alcohol Training preferred</li><li>Must be physically fit, requires standing, walking, bending</li><li>May be required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds</li><li>Must have good vision (corrected 20.20)</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug test</li></ul> DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Guard Casino property and guests against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry </li><li>Patrol buildings and grounds of the Casino and related areas, this includes examining doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure</li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws pertaining to the gaming industry. </li><li>Warns violators of hours, gaming rule infractions and drinking violations</li><li>Apprehend persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts </li><li>Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred</li><li>Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, health hazards and security hazards to the Security Manager/Supervisor.</li><li>Notify the Security Control room in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons</li><li>Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property</li><li>Permit authorized persons to enter the property</li><li>Record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of equipment or machinery</li><li>Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>PUBLIC RELATIONS:
