This role also functions in multiple embedded capacities for the unit, including Information Assurance Officer (IAO), Information Technology Asset Manager (ITAM), Equipment Custodian, Telephone Control Operator (TCO), and AF Portal/SharePoint content administrator, while safeguarding classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with applicable Air Force and DoD security guidance. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain staff workstations in accordance with AFNETOPS and local Communications Unit guidance, applying the SDC/FDCC, patch updates, and configuration changes, and creating exemption groups for PCs running legacy web-based applications (e.g., KOFAX, DTS, PIEE).
