Senior Piping Designer 
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Senior Piping Designer for our clients operation near Elkview / Charleston, WV. This is a long-term contract position with competitive pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on state-of-the-art projects. 
The Senior Piping Designer will lead and support the delivery of piping design and drafting services for nuclear projects. This role applies advanced technical expertise to ensure design quality and supports project execution in alignment with nuclear safety, regulatory, and quality requirements. Qualifications: <ul><li>10+ years of piping design experience, including experience in a senior or lead role, with a focus on nuclear projects.
	</li><li>Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
	</li><li>Advanced experience with PDMS/E3D modeling and drafting, including integration of field data
	</li><li>Experience preparing and reviewing piping deliverables, including isometrics and layouts
	</li><li>Experience supporting piping design in nuclear facilities or similarly regulated environments
	</li><li>Familiarity with nuclear codes and standards (e.g., ASME Section III, B31.1)
	</li><li>Experience working within nuclear quality assurance programs (e.g., NQA-1)
	</li><li>Understanding of nuclear safety culture, design control, and documentation requirements
	</li><li>Familiarity with P&ID MOC processes and scope change management
	</li><li>Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple engineering and QA disciplines
	</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
	</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
	</li><li>Experience with Navisworks, SharePoint, and laser scanning tools is preferred.
	</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States.
	</li><li>Willingness to work in or relocate to the Charleston, West Virginia area.

Senior Mechanical Engineer will join the Nuclear team, supporting the delivery of complex industrial projects. In this role, you will contribute to the design and execution of mechanical systems across the full project lifecycle, from early concept development through detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning. Qualifications: <ul><li>8+ years of relevant professional experience, including experience in the nuclear sector.
	</li><li>Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering 
	</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US with the ability to obtain licensure in West Virginia.
	</li><li>Experience supporting projects in nuclear, refining, chemical, or petrochemical facilities, or similar industrial environments.
	</li><li>Experience contributing to multiple phases of engineering projects, from early concept through detailed design, including work on nuclear systems or facilities.
	</li><li>Strong technical and practical mechanical engineering skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and timely work.
	</li><li>Understanding of core mechanical engineering principles and general awareness of related engineering disciplines.
	</li><li>Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including nuclear-specific standards where applicable.
	</li><li>Experience using mechanical engineering design tools and general business software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
	</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States.
	</li><li>Willingness to work in or relocate to the Charleston, West Virginia area.
