Repairs heavy and medium duty equipment, including motor graders, wheel loaders, excavators, and Class 1-8 trucks; specialty equipment, including street sweepers, slurry seal trucks, Vacuum sewer basin cleaners, and paint striping machines, all other motorized equipment for the department, with particular emphasis on trouble-shooting difficult and unusual mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities PERFORMS all types of repairs on trucks, wheel loaders, road graders, rollers, skid steer loaders, street sweepers, jet-rodders, street flusher, tractors, mowers, chain saws, weed eaters, motors and any other equipment related to the various maintenance programs.
