Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Histology, Biology, Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline preferred HT or HTL certification strongly preferred 5+ years of experience in histology, pathology, laboratory applications, field applications, technical support, or a related field Strong understanding of histology workflows, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, sectioning, staining, and slide preparation Experience working directly with laboratory equipment and troubleshooting technical or workflow-related issues Demonstrated experience training and supporting customers or end users Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment Ability and willingness to travel regularly based on customer and business needs Prior experience as a Field Application Specialist, Applications Specialist, Clinical Application Specialist, or similar customer-facing technical role, a plus Experience supporting laboratory automation, medical devices, pathology systems, or other advanced laboratory technologies, a plus Experience working with automated tissue sectioning or histology equipment, a plus Familiarity with product development and the process of communicating field feedback to engineering and product teams, a plus Experience supporting product launches and customer implementations, a plus Experience delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations, a plus Familiarity with laboratory quality systems and regulated environments, a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel regularly to customer sites and other business locations Ability to work in laboratory and clinical environments while following applicable safety requirements Ability to operate and demonstrate technical equipment Ability to stand for extended periods during customer training, demonstrations, and laboratory activities Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment, supplies, and materials in accordance with applicable safety guidelines.
