Per Diem of $150-$200/day Job Details Traveling Senior Project Manager – Electrical Construction The Senior Project Manager is accountable for leading large-scale electrical construction projects from early planning through final delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing highly complex initiatives that require advanced coordination of engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Projects may include commercial, industrial, healthcare, energy, or mission-critical facilities with significant technical and operational complexity. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven expertise managing multimillion-dollar electrical construction projects, with a strong ability to balance scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety. This role requires effective communication with executive leadership, owners, design teams, and field personnel, as well as the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority over all contributors. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to lead multiple project teams, manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, and ensure projects are executed in alignment with contractual requirements, financial targets, and organizational standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities <ul><li>	Provide overall leadership and accountability for large, complex electrical construction projects valued at $30MM and above</li><li>	Direct project planning efforts, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and risk assessment</li><li>	Oversee execution activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and contractual obligations</li><li>	Manage project financial performance, including cost controls, forecasting, change management, and margin protection</li><li>	Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineering, field operations, procurement, and external partners</li><li>	Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors</li><li>	Review and approve project documentation, including schedules, estimates, contracts, change orders, and progress reports</li><li>	Identify risks and issues early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate</li><li>	Ensure timely project closeout, including documentation, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned</li><li>	Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers, engineers, and support staff as needed</li></ul> ________________________________________ Required Education <ul><li>	Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Preferred)</li><li>	Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred</li></ul> ________________________________________ Required Experience <ul><li>	Minimum 5+ years of project management experience within electrical construction or related trades</li><li>	Demonstrated experience managing Data Center projects and electrical construction projects valued at $3MM or greater</li><li>	Proven success leading projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout</li><li>	Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors across multiple project phases</li><li>	Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, construction means and methods, and industry standards</li><li>	Advanced understanding of project controls, including scheduling, cost management, and change order administration</li><li>	Experience presenting project status and financial performance to senior leadership or executive stakeholders</li></ul> ________________________________________ Preferred Experience and Skills <ul><li>	Experience with large-scale data center projects</li><li>	Familiarity with design-build and alternative delivery methods</li><li>	Contract negotiation and subcontractor management experience</li><li>	Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments</li><li>	Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms</li><li>	Ability to lead through influence, collaboration, and clear communication</li></ul> ________________________________________ Additional Qualifications <ul><li>	Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage complex project budgets</li><li>	Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>	Willingness to travel or work on-site as required by project assignments</li><li>	Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement</li></ul> Interested in hearing more? Submit check request to finance for associated fees according to check request procedures</li><li>During construction phase, proactively, manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget, and safety.</li><li>Maintain customer (owner, architect, engineer, subcontractor, supplier, and public official) relationships and conduct project meetings.</li><li>Ensure prompt payment from the customer and timely disbursement to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance to the agreement</li><li>Document quality and progress of each subcontractors and suppliers. Update subcontractors and suppliers of any changes to the plans, specifications, and/or schedule</li><li>Inform management of productivity, costs, quality control, document management and processing of applications for payment.
