The primary responsibility of the work is keeping mechanical equipment in proper operating condition, maintaining pumping pressures, water flows, and maintaining levels in reservoirs, elevated tanks, plant storage, and process equipment. These include: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
