The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for managing the shipping department during assigned shift.Shift: 2nd ShiftHours: 2pm-10pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Direct supervisor of assigned line shipping staff (approximately 20 team members)</li><li>Verify daily & weekly payroll time sheets for all employees in the department as assigned</li><li>Responsible for daily & weekly paperwork such as but not limited to: attendance; vacation requests; disciplinary action; shipping & receiving records</li><li>Be familiar with, certified, & able to operate the mobile equipment in the Shipping Department</li><li>Monitor outgoing pictures of loaded trucks to ensure that customers receive the best-looking product we can possibly send out</li><li>Comply with all written corporate safety & plant policies</li><li>Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene & cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies</li><li>Follow the written specifications for packaging & labeling of products</li><li>Identify & report any suspicious situations to immediate supervisor or plant management officical. Responsibilities:
As a Sr Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for warehouse operations and software. Previous experience in scheduling and problem-solving is ideal. You believe in doing the job right. And you’re up for the challenge. In addition, you will:<ul><li>Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit by using appropriate hand tools</li><li>Ensure proper materials are loaded using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves when needed</li><li>Convey materials from storage or work sites to the designated area using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices, and may occasionally operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products</li><li>Ensure all identifying tags or labels are properly attached to materials, or all identifying marks are properly used to identify information on cases, bales, or other containers</li><li>Properly maintain records as required by management in the appropriate warehouse information system </li><li>Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper location</li><li>Read work orders, shipping orders, and follow verbal instructions</li><li>Fill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items</li><li>Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage</li><li>Notify Warehouse Manager of problems</li><li>Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment</li><li>Track all inventory in the appropriate system </li><li>Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed</li><li>Report any customer problems or concerns immediately</li><li>Coach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed</li><li>Enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations</li><li>Evaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse management</li><li>Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse costs per unit and increase productivity</li><li>Maintain working knowledge of warehouse data systems and perform various tasks within the system</li><li>When requested, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards</li></ul>
