Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). Incentives and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.<br/><br/>Salary Range: $88,000-$130,000/annually<br/><br/><b>Position Summary</b><br/><br/>This position is responsible for designing, integrating, building, and maintaining Salesforce-based Sales and Financial Services solutions within Midland States Bank. The role ensures scalable, secure, and compliant solutions using the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud platform, supporting business objectives and optimizing system functionality. The Senior Solutions Engineer reports to the Team Lead - Salesforce.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/><ul><li>Design and architect scalable and efficient Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions aligned with business needs.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend technical solutions, including AppExchange products, to enhance functionality.</li><li>Manage Salesforce system administration: custom objects, fields, layouts, validation rules.</li><li>Implement automation: workflows, approval processes, and rules to streamline operations.</li><li>Ensure data governance: audits, data management, and quality standards adherence.</li><li>Design and execute test plans for solution validation.</li><li>Lead Salesforce integrations ensuring consistency and information flow across systems.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate integration needs and maintain implementations.</li><li>Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert.</li><li>Support automations, workflows, and approvals for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.</li><li>Share best practices, industry trends, and new features with the team and contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources.</li><li>Stay current on Salesforce updates and industry best practices.</li><li>Be task-focused and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.</li><li>Present ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed.</li><li>May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.</li><li>Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Requirements:</b><br/><br/><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years with Financial Services Cloud or related financial implementations.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce Industries OmniStudio and deployment in banking environments.</li><li>Knowledge of sales and marketing methodologies including account/territory/opportunity management, demand generation, and lead nurturing.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce tech stack (administration, JavaScript, Lightning Design System, Apex, Visualforce).</li><li>Experience with analysis/reporting tools such as Salesforce, SAS BI, MS BI, or Tableau.</li><li>Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform) preferred.</li><li>Ability to diagram customer processes and recommend effective changes.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>or similar CRM proficiency.</li><li>Understanding of customer and partner relationship strategies.</li><li>Knowledge of the customer journey and ability to map touchpoints to the sales process.</li><li>Basic understanding of API and REST.</li><li>Basic knowledge of database <h2>Overview</h2><div><div><div><p>Avaya UC Infrastructure Engineer (2026-24845-F):</p><p/><p>Bowhead seeks an experienced Avaya UC Infrastructure Engineer to support Base Telecommunications System operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The Avaya UC Infrastructure Engineer will provide technical expertise in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Avaya switching systems and associated telecommunications infrastructure supporting mission-critical voice services.</p><p> </p><p>This position serves as a key technical resource responsible for maintaining switching systems and supporting telecommunications operations in accordance with contract requirements.</p></div></div></div><h2>Responsibilities</h2><div><div><div><p>Essential functions will include: </p><ul><li>Perform system administration and operational maintenance in accordance with telecommunications operations and maintenance requirements with little to no oversight.</li><li>Manage software updates, configuration changes, and system upgrades associated with voice infrastructure.</li><li>Document maintenance actions, system changes, and troubleshooting activities in accordance with contract documentation requirements and report to leadership.</li><li>Operate and maintain the Avaya CM10 switching system and associated telecommunications infrastructure.</li><li>Support configuration, troubleshooting, and restoration of voice services within the Base Telecommunications System.</li><li>Perform system backups, database administration, and system configuration management for switching equipment.</li><li>Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of telecommunications outages, trouble tickets, and service disruptions.</li><li>Coordinate with telecommunications technicians and network personnel to resolve voice system issues and restore services.</li><li>Maintain switching equipment and associated hardware in accordance with manufacturer technical manuals and contract requirements.</li><li>Support adds, moves, changes, and deletions of telephone circuits and services.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul></div></div></div><h2>Qualifications</h2><div><div><div><ul><li>Education<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Technical training in telecommunications, networking, or information technology is preferred.</li></ul></li><li>Years of experience<ul><li>Minimum of ten years of experience supporting telecommunications switching systems or voice network infrastructure.</li><li>Experience operating and maintaining enterprise voice systems or telecommunications switching platforms is required.</li></ul></li><li>Required skills or certifications<ul><li>Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining Avaya CM10 switching systems.</li><li>Working knowledge of telecommunications switching systems and associated voice infrastructure.</li><li>Ability to perform system configuration, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance of enterprise voice systems.</li><li>Knowledge of telecommunications operations and maintenance procedures supporting voice and unified communications systems.</li><li>Ability to diagnose and resolve telecommunications service outages and switching system faults.</li><li>Familiarity with telecommunications databases, system backups, and system administration processes.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret telecommunications technical documentation and system diagrams.</li><li>Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to work in mission-critical telecommunications environments.</li></ul></li><li>Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team</li></ul><p/><p>Physical Demands:</p><ul><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time</li><li>Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically</li></ul><p/><p>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check.  Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.  Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations. </p><p/></div></div></div>
