Each year, we process millions of pounds of textiles, helping reduce waste while extending the life of usable goods. Our work supports global recycling efforts, creates microeconomic opportunities, and helps generate jobs in developing countries around the world.Duties and Essential Job Functions:· Manually pulls materials from carts or storage bins and inspects for quality· Aptitude to determine re-routing of materials quickly and efficiently· Competence in determining grades of textiles and cloth quicklyKey job duties include:· Sorting and moving product quickly· Working independently or as part of a team· Maintaining cleanliness of work station and area· Accurately documents processing for warehouse reporting· Adheres to all safety practices of the warehouse operation· Ability to meet daily company quotas on a consistent basisPosition Qualifications:· Ability to work in a fast paced environment· Attention to detail· Team Player· Ability to communicate with floor supervisors and co-workers· Demonstrated ability to meet quotas· Ability to stand up at least 8 hours a day· Ability to lift and bend frequently· Ability to lift up to 35 pounds· Ability to speak conversational English· Adhering to company attendance requirements

Job Summary: The Soil Counter/Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from the customer.

Classification: Non-ExemptJob Summary: The Soil Counter/Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from the customer. Identifies damaged or abused textiles. Prepares and transfers textiles to other departments. Performs other tasks as needed.Essential Functions: -  Open bag of soiled textiles, then sort them by type, size and color. -  Count textiles manually or electronically, and transfer them into sorting systems. -  Identify damaged or abused textiles and record into sorting systems. -  Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position. -  Follow instructions as directed by supervision.Additional Functions: -  Work in other production positions as needed.Qualifications: -  Recognize colors and sizes, count accurately. -  Comprehend and follow direction.Typical Physical Activity: -  Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping. -  Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.Typical Environmental Conditions: -  Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust.
