Atlantic Staffing Consultants is looking to hire a DMA (Daily Maintenance Assistant) Recycling Sorter for the Day Shift at a recycling facility in Raleigh, NC.Duties of the DMA Recycling Sorter:<ul><li>Sort and segregate recycled waste items (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material.</li><li>Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.</li><li>Assist other employees on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.</li><li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Inspect incoming loads for material that isn’t recyclable; remove unacceptable items as required.</li><li>Clean assigned areas by sweeping, raking, and picking up broken glass and loose debris or moving barrels, cans, and bins.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> Requirements of the DMA Recycling Sorter:<ul><li>Steel-toed shoes are required.</li><li>Ability to lift 25-65 lbs safely.</li><li>Able to stand for long periods without a break.</li><li>Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Candidates with waste management and warehouse experience are encouraged to apply. Classification: Non-exemptRevised date: 3/13/2026The Counter-Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from the customer. You will identify damaged or abused textiles and prepare and transfer textiles to other departments. You will report to the Production Manager.You Will:<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Open bag of soiled textiles, then sort them by type, size and color.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Count textiles manually or electronically and transfer them into sorting systems.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Identify damaged or abused textiles and record into sorting systems.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Comply with Spindle Job Classification efficiency and safety standards for the position.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Follow policy and procedures related to wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li><li style="text-align:justify">Will function in a team environment.</li></ul>What You Bring:<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Support production flow.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Flexibility to perform different tasks within the team based on daily operational needs.</li></ul>Work Environment and Requirements:<ul><li style="text-align:justify">You will perform physical tasks throughout the work shift.
