Processing millions of pounds of textiles annually, Brook Valley Salvage plays a vital role in sustainability by supporting textile recycling, creating micro-economic opportunities, and helping provide jobs in developing countries around the world.</p><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>As a member of the Brook Valley Export Team, your primary responsibility is to perform your duties in accordance with company procedures while consistently exceeding customer expectations. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority, and every role on the export team contributes directly to that goal</p><p>Duties and Essential Job Functions:</p><ul><li>Manually pulls materials from carts or storage bins and inspects for quality</li><li>Aptitude to determine re-routing of materials quickly and efficiently</li><li>Competence in determining grades of textiles and cloth quickly</li></ul><p>Key job duties include:</p><ul><li>Sorting and moving product quickly</li><li>Working independently or as part of a team</li><li>Maintaining cleanliness of work station and area</li><li>Accurately documents processing for warehouse reporting</li><li>Adheres to all safety practices of the warehouse operation</li><li>Ability to meet daily company quotas on a consistent basis</li></ul><p>Position Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Team Player</li><li>Ability to communicate with floor supervisors and co-workers</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet quotas</li><li>Ability to stand up at least 8 hours a day</li><li>Ability to lift and bend frequently</li><li>Ability to lift up to 35 pounds</li><li>Ability to speak conversational English</li><li>Adhering to company attendance requirements</li></ul>
