ul style="list-style-type:square;margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0px">Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance regulations; Extensive knowledge of best practices in special education and the development of young children; Extensive knowledge of young children with disabilities; Extensive knowledge of the Electronic Access to Student Information (EASI) system; Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; Google Apps; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; Ability to work independently and complete tasks in the absence of clear direction; Ability to organize information pulled from multiple sources; Ability to perform data collection and analyze student data; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with system staff, staff of childcare centers, students, parents, external agencies, and the community. - Master’s degree in special education from a regionally accredited college or university;
- Preferred experience teaching preschool aged students with disabilities;
- Experience with varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
