As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will: Assist the physician or other licensed independent practitioner in evaluating the patient’s level of communication deficit, hearing and swallowing function, as well as in developing the resulting plan of care/treatment including appropriate long term treatment goals, selection of interventions, and the intensity, frequency and duration of services to meet the needs of an individual patient. You provide skilled, compassionate care that helps patients recover, manage chronic conditions, and live safely and independently at home, while using your clinical expertise to prevent hospitalizations, empower patients and families, and improve long-term outcomes through trusted relationships and coordinated care.
