Specialized skills to include, but not limited to, obtaining and interpreting EKG-12 lead, knowledge of common cardiac, pulmonary, and emergency medications, interpretation of rhythms/arrhythmias, telemetry application/use, lab value interpretation, cardiac & pulmonary specific equipment (pacemaker/defibrillators, LVADs, oxygen/portable ventilators, etc.), exercise prescription and progression principles, incision care (CABG, angiogram, transplant, etc.), accurately charge and track unit statistics, & knowledge/practice unit specific policies. Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients.
