Experience for this position includes: conducting and publishing independent, original research using survey, census, and/or administrative records data; leading or guiding others in conducting complex and innovative empirical research using survey, census, and/or administrative records data; monitoring projects and developing project plans and schedules; setting priorities to lead multiple concurrent complex activities; making key decisions and providing technical advice, instruction, and training with minimal guidance; and communicating technical information clearly to a broad variety of stakeholders. Minimum Education Requirement: Degree: that included 15 semester hours in statistics (or in mathematics and statistics, provided at least 6 semester hours were in statistics), and 9 additional semester hours in one or more of the following: physical or biological sciences, medicine, education, or engineering; or in the social sciences including demography, history, economics, social welfare, geography, international relations, social or cultural anthropology, health sociology, political science, public administration, psychology, etc.
