RESPONSIBILITIES: \u2022Abide by all camp rules \u2022Successfully complete pre-camp staff training \u2022Always assume the responsibility for each camper's safety and well-being \u2022Always set a good example for campers and others \u2022Encourage respect for personal property, camp equipment, and facilities \u2022Submit all required reports on time \u2022Guide cabin groups in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities \u2022Carry out established roles for supervising camper health and safety \u2022Supervise all assigned aspects of the campers' day including cabin clean-up, mealtimes, rest time, evening activities, getting ready for bed, and after-hours duty as assigned \u2022Assist in teaching or leading activities \u2022Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem solving in the group \u2022Develop opportunities for interaction between campers and staff \u2022Provide opportunities which allow for each camper to experience success \u2022Provide opportunities for discussion of individual or group problems or concerns \u2022Help each camper meet the goals established by the camp for camper development \u2022Know your limitations and always be flexible \u2022Attend AmeriCorps sponsored training, staff meetings and events. \u2022Ensuring the spread of AmeriCorps vision and visibility by wearing AmeriCorps gear during all service activities \u2022Following all AmeriCorps and assigned site policy and procedures \u2022Other duties as assigned Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
