p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. • Ensure all health care procedures are followed • Dispense camper and staff medications • Participate in resident camp check-in to accept camper medications • Ensure that adequate health screening is done for arriving campers and staff • Be responsible for communicating special dietary requirements to food service director and counselors • Make doctors appointments for resident camp children needing medical care • Respond to health care emergencies and make decisions on how to handle them • Monitor and evaluate camp procedures to promote more healthy conditions in the camp • Read and understand medications and their uses • Ensure incident report forms are completed as needed • Enter all camper health care and medication administration into online spreadsheets • Proficient with using camp management system "Campwise" to access camper health records and contact information.
