THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN Helens, CA<ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Job Title: Travel RN - OutpatientLocation: Helena, CA Assignment Type: (Temporary Contract) Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (Mon–Fri, rotating day off) Start times vary between 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM based on case volume</li></ul><hr/><h3>Position Summary</h3>We are seeking an experienced RN – Outpatient Surgery, who will deliver coordinated, patient-centered care across pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows in a dynamic surgical setting.This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a rapid patient turnover environment.<hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans</li><li>Deliver safe, efficient pre-op and post-anesthesia (Phase II) care</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes</li><li>Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery</li><li>Support discharge planning and continuity of care</li><li>Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff appropriately</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Required:<h3>Requirements</h3>Licensure & Certifications<ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Active California RN License (Required)</li><li>BLS (AHA or ARC) (Required)</li><li>ACLS (Required)</li><li>PALS (Required)</li></ul>Experience<ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Minimum 2 years RN experience</li><li>Outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative experience strongly preferred</li><li>Experience with:<ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Moderate sedation</li><li>Rapid patient turnover</li><li>Pre-op care for open heart & total joint patients (highly valued)</li></ul></li></ul><hr/><h3></h3>
