Performs decontamination of dirty instrumentation to include soaking, mechanical cleaning, rinsing, use of the sonic washer, and the Decontamination Washer per policy, procedure, and manufacturers instruction for use. The Sterile Processing Technician will perform various duties in the cleaning, organizing, wrapping, and sterilizing of instruments and supplies used in surgery and other departments throughout the facility.
