Overview:
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our growing team in Charleston, West Virginia. This role is a great opportunity to build your technical skills by supporting survey projects through drafting, data processing, and coordination with field crews.  You’ll work on a variety of projects while gaining exposure to both office and field operations, helping you develop a well-rounded understanding of the surveying process. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and support survey drawings and plan production, including ALTA/NSPS, boundary, and topographic surveys</li><li>Assist with drafting and data processing using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, or similar software</li><li>Work with survey data collected in the field to develop accurate and complete plan sets</li><li>Collaborate with field crews and project teams to support survey deliverables</li><li>Assist with general office tasks such as document preparation, plotting, and project documentation</li><li>Participate in field activities as needed to gain hands-on experience and support survey operations</li><li>Maintain organization and accuracy of project data and files</li></ul>At CEC, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical CAD skills while gaining exposure to the full surveying process. Our Bridgeport office has grown to over 130 professionals and supports a wide variety of projects across the region. Qualifications:
