This role focuses on integrating LiDAR, UAV/drone operations, and 3D scanning workflows into survey operations while providing technical leadership to survey managers and field crews. The position combines technology leadership, project oversight, and business development to expand next-generation survey capabilities.</div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Job Duties</strong></div><div>• Lead implementation of advanced geospatial technologies, including mobile and terrestrial LiDAR, UAV/drone operations, and 3D scanning.<br/>• Identify emerging technologies and develop strategies to integrate them into survey operations.<br/>• Train and mentor survey managers and field crews on new tools and geospatial workflows.<br/>• Develop and maintain CAD standards and templates using AutoCAD Civil 3D.<br/>• Establish quality control procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.<br/>• Provide technical oversight for multi-state survey projects across energy, utility, and infrastructure sectors.<br/>• Support proposal development, scope creation, and budget planning for geospatial services.<br/>• Monitor project progress and address risks or variances impacting delivery.<br/>• Identify new business opportunities and support client relationship development.<br/>• Collaborate with engineering and other technical teams to expand survey service integration.</div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div>• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS / PS) license required.<br/>• 10+ years of progressive survey experience with both field and office leadership.<br/>• Hands-on expertise with LiDAR (mobile and terrestrial), UAV/drone operations, and 3D scanning.<br/>• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center (TBC).<br/>• Experience managing multiple survey projects across energy, utility, or transportation sectors.<br/>• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.<br/>• Familiarity with GIS or point cloud processing platforms (e.g., ArcGIS) is a plus.</div><div><br/></div><div>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin.</div>
