We're looking for a Land Surveyor to join our transportation department. This is a great opportunity to work on transportation-focused survey projects with the latestTrimble equipment.Description<ul><li>Perform both field (one-person crew) and office survey tasks</li><li>Use Trimble SX10/SX12 total stations, R980/R12i GNSS, and TSC5/TSC7 data collectors </li><li>Process data, create deliverables, and collaborate with teams across multiple offices </li><li>Support transportation projects for WisDOT and local governments</li></ul> QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Associates degree in Land Surveying or a related field </li><li>Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Computer literacy, including use of relevant communication software</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to multi-task</li><li>Strong math and analytical skills</li><li>Valid driver's license, ability to travel, including overnight, if needed</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Professional Land Surveying (PLS) License or ability to obtain in the future</li><li>Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level 1 or higher</li><li>AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience</li><li>Trimble Business Center experience</li><li>Understanding of the WisDOT transportation design process</li><li>Experience with WisDOT fieldwork and deliverable creation</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Walking five (5) miles or more in a day on a construction project site on uneven terrain</li><li>Excessive standing</li><li>Lifting, or carrying, of a minimum of 50 lbs.</li><li>Pushing and pulling equipment</li><li>Use of a computer, keyboard, mouse</li></ul>​Working Conditions<ul><li>​On project sites, in field offices, or in company office</li><li>Frequently outdoors, year-round in various weather conditions</li><li>Travel throughout Wisconsin Southeast region </li><li>Occasional travel with overnight stays</li></ul> <a href="https://correinc.com/join-team-corre/" rel="nofollow">More details on benefits for this role</a> If you are a career-oriented and highly motivated individual interested in being part of a growing firm, we want to hear from you!
