• Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit softwareEssential Functions & Primary DutiesGain an understanding and assist in planning multiple tax assignments in Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing and many more industries.Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations and individuals.Develop tax compliance knowledge and assist with IRS audits, tax notice response, trust returns, gift and estate returns.Participate in client assignments from beginning to end.Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships.Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs.Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.Preferred Qualifications• Masters degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred

What you'll bring to the team...:
<ul><li>Build year-round client relationships  </li><li>Provide tax preparation, tax audit support and tax planning year-round </li><li>Create confidence in our clients by conducing tax interviews face to face and through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email) </li><li>Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services </li><li>Provide clients with IRS support  <ul><li>All certification levels can provide tax notice services  </li><li>Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation </li></ul></li><li>Grow your tax expertise </li><li>5+ years of tax experience  </li><li>Experience completing individual tax returns </li><li>Tax planning and audit support </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually </li><li>Comfort working with virtual tools – video conferencing and chat </li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment </li><li>Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment* or equivalent  </li><li>Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements </li></ul>
