Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Our ideal candidate has experience teaching clawhammer style, would be willing to commute up to 15 miles, can teach multiple instruments (such as piano, voice, bass, or ukulele) and has experience with students age 4 and older.
