Accountable for providing central expertise, support, and control for an organization's technical programs/projects. Establishes and implements strategies that have short to midterm impact on business results. Validates adherence to methodologies, budgets, timing. Provides full staffing and management for the organization's major technical programs. Defines functional strategy, ensuring alignment to overall division and corporate strategies. Drives change(s) necessary to achieve goals and objectives. Ensures responsible functions quality and service level standards are on par with division and corporate standards.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining area budget detail and input to the annual budget, ensuring that performance objectives are met at the lowest cost. Continually monitors expenses throughout the year and revises expectations as needed.</li><li>Keeps abreast of emerging trends, disciplines and technologies.
