Proven accounting experience is required, along with strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to join the accounting and finance team.   RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Process payroll</li><li>Build and set annual budgets, monitor monthly adherence</li><li>Prepare financial statements</li><li>Post customer payments and deposits</li><li>Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)</li><li>Manage Medical, Dental, Vision policies, enroll new employees and manage annual open enrollment</li><li>Annual Affordable Care Act Compliance</li><li>Sales & Tax Use filings monthly</li><li>Procedure and policy development-as needed</li><li>Processing any employee changes (pay increase, demographics, resignations/terminations)</li><li>Manage unemployment claims</li><li>Credit Card payments and reconciliation on a monthly basis</li><li>Year-end preparation and reporting-yearly with CPA</li><li>Annual workers compensation audits</li></ul> REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>2 to 3 years of proven accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li><li>Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting platform</li><li>Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports</li><li>Able to analyze financial records and transfer information</li><li>Able to handle high volumes of daily data/information</li><li>Ability to multitask</li><li>Data entry and word processing skills</li><li>Self-motivated and self-directed</li><li>Accurate and precise attention to detail</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize</li><li>Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals</li><li>Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul>EDUCATION:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree, or similar-level experience, in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field preferred</li></ul> Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
