Introduction:Protonex LLC, dba PNI Sensor based in Windsor, Ca. seeks meticulous, process-oriented individual for a temporary role for 3 months - possibly longer. Work 40 hours a week. The ideal candidate is disciplined, accountable, meticulous, has pride in their work product and a team player.Job DescriptionThe Machine operator for sensor testing will perform tasks that are necessary for the engineering team projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Essential Functions:· Must be extremely detailed oriented and meticulous about tasks. Multi-tasking as could be doing multiple testing at the same time. Screening and collecting a large number of sensors for various engineering test projects. Quick learner. Education:High School DiplomaSkills required:· High attention to detail· Willingness to learn.· Excellent hand-eye coordination.· Willing to perform repetitive tasks & standing for extended periods of time.· Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.· Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing policies at all times.· Basic computer skills and willingness to learn ERP systems.· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Work environment:· Manufacturing environment <h3>Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts</h3>

Golden State Water Company is one of the largest investor-owned water utilities in the United States.  We deliver quality, reliable water to more than 1 million people in over 80 communities throughout California.  Golden State Water has been in business for more than 90 years because we put customers first.POSITION DEFINITION: Temporary Water Distribution Operator IAccountability The Temporary Water Distribution Operator I is an entry-level position and is considered to be in a training status requiring immediate to general supervision.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Learns to perform the various tasks associated with the maintenance and operation of a water distribution system. • Learns the proper use of tools and equipment required to perform the job. • Under direction, participates in the installation, repairs and replacement of water mains, water services, valves, fire hydrants and water meters. • Interacts with customers and acts as a representative of the Company. • Performs meter reads, ons and offs and field investigations. • Performs collection activities of delinquent accounts. • Participates in routine maintenance activities such as system flushing, valve exercising and fire hydrant maintenance. • Under direction, follows established policies and procedures in repair of equipment to ensure proper working order. • Operates company vehicles and equipment according to established safety procedures and policies. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Available for emergency response, 24 hours/day, seven days/week. • Must reside within 25 miles of the nearest water system boundary where assigned in order to respond to emergencies. • Works under immediate supervision.MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Good communication skills. • General PC skills • Valid California driver’s license.May include working in all weather conditions, during all hours of the day.
