<h2>Role Overview</h2>Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. As Sodexo Government Services continues to have the proud pleasure of supporting the Air Force, we are seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to lead the operations at the student training dining facility at Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX.  This facility serves about 1800-2000 airmen, soilders, marines, and guardians a day.  Under direction of the General Manager and Operations Manager, you will help ensure high standards of food and service while focusing on a culture of employee safety in the workplace.  Adhearence to military policies and strict cash handling procedures are a must.  This position leads our team in daily/weekly huddles and assists with training and unit audits/inspections.  Direct client interaction is expected of all managers at this unit.<h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul><li>manage the daily food production including production planning and controls; </li><li>ensure Sodexo Concept Standards and food quality; </li></ul><ul><li>have high expectations for customer service and quality of food;</li></ul><h2>What We Offer</h2>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Performing semiskilled general labor work in cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds at San Angelo Regional Airport - Mathis Field (SJT).</li><li>Performing deep cleaning and sanitization of airport restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, urinals, and sinks; polishing mirrors and fixtures to maintain high standards of public hygiene.</li><li>Monitoring and restocking restroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and soap dispensers to ensure uninterrupted service for travelers.</li><li>Performing professional floor care, including mopping, stripping, and waxing hard surface floors; vacuuming carpets in terminal lobbies, waiting areas, and secured boarding areas.</li><li>Emptying, cleaning, and relining interior and exterior trash and recycling receptacles throughout airport facilities and grounds.</li><li>Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as seating, handrails, counters, and baggage claim areas to promote a safe environment for the public.</li><li>Performing general facility maintenance and repair duties, including light carpentry; conduit and wiring work; minor maintenance on mowers, vehicles, and machinery; replacement of HVAC air filters; maintenance of exterior lighting; and general HVAC knowledge as needed.</li><li>Inspecting grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs; reviewing repair requests; planning and prioritizing projects; and coordinating maintenance and repair work with contractors and City departments as needed.</li><li>Performing job site inspections of ongoing and completed work assignments to ensure timely completion and minimize operational disruption.</li><li>Enforcing all safety rules and regulations to reduce risk and enhance the safety of employees and visitors.</li><li>Performing maintenance and repairs in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations; working independently and exercising sound judgment.</li><li>Operating equipment in accordance with safety regulations; identifying and reporting mechanical issues requiring additional repair.</li><li>Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining trucks and equipment; reporting mechanical problems as identified.</li><li>Completing required daily logs and reports.</li><li>Promptly reporting emergency situations and implementing response procedures.</li></ul>Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Schedules may include weekends and holidays and are subject to change.Regular and timely attendance is required. Applicant must perform job duties in a way that promotes a positive image of the City of San Angelo, demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and delivers exemplary customer service. Your responsibilities will include:<ol><li style="text-align:justify">Supervising the aquatic facility in the absence of the Recreation Supervisor(s).</li><li style="text-align:justify">Training, motivating, disciplining, and supervising all pool personnel.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Coordinating schedules, lifeguard rotations, and lifeguard breaks; ensuring all shifts are covered.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Attending and assisting in planning of all required staff meeting and in-service trainings.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Opening/closing out register each day and making appropriate deposits.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Assisting with completing accident and incident reports.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Overseeing general facility maintenance and cleanliness including water balance, chemical regulation, filling pool, cleaning restrooms, office areas, pool, pool deck, pool yard, and pool equipment.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Testing water quality and maintaining proper chemical balance in the swimming pool.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Maintaining inventory of chemicals and supplies.</li><li style="text-align:justify">May be required to direct and instruct learn to swim classes.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Monitoring and applying safety guidelines and proper rescue techniques to patrons in the aquatic facility.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Administering first aid or CPR according to prescribed procedures and notifying emergency medical personnel when necessary.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Assisting in the daily operation of the Municipal Pool including but not limited to opening and closing of the facility, assisting guests, providing programming information, and collecting fees.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Working in cooperation with the Recreation Supervisors and Recreation Manager.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Must be able to work Monday through Friday, including weekends and holidays. Schedule could include up to 40 hours per week.
