<h1><strong>IT Systems Specialist</strong></h1><p><strong>Full-Time | Remote | Warehouse Labor / Third-Party Logistics</strong></p><h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile <strong>IT Systems Specialist</strong> to support our fast-paced warehouse labor and 3PL operations. This role is responsible for delivering hands-on technical support, managing hardware and equipment, developing and maintaining databases, building reports, and supporting the technology that keeps our workforce running efficiently.</p><p>The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can move seamlessly between help desk support, systems (hosted and cloud), network infrastructure, security, development, database administration, SharePoint administration, and technical project execution.</p><p>The position will be remote, but the candidate selected must reside in one of the following states: Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, Texas, or Tennessee</p><hr/><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><h3><strong>Technical Support & Systems Administration</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Provide technical support to warehouse operations, supervisors, and corporate users.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot issues with laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, time clocks, and network-connected equipment.</p></li><li><p>Set up, image, and configure laptops and other hardware</p></li><li><p>Maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings across company systems.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Hardware & Equipment Management</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Manage inventory of laptops, scanners, tablets, networking components, and related warehouse technology.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine equipment maintenance, updates, and replacements.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate equipment deployment to warehouse sites across multiple locations.</p></li><li><p>Assist with server hardware refresh and cloud migrations</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Database Development & Maintenance</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Build, support, and enhance SQL Server databases used for workforce management, timekeeping, scheduling, productivity tracking, and client reporting.</p></li><li><p>Execute database upgrades, patching, optimization, and performance tuning.</p></li><li><p>Ensure data quality, integrity, and system reliability.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Coding & System Enhancements</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Develop automated tools, scripts, and applications to support operations.</p></li><li><p>Write clean, efficient code (e.g., SQL, VB.Net, C#, JavaScript, or relevant languages) to enhance internal workflows.</p></li><li><p>Integrate systems and data sources to improve operational efficiency.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Reporting & Analytics</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Create, run, and maintain reports for staffing, productivity, payroll, attendance, and client metrics.</p></li><li><p>Analyze operational data and present findings to leadership.</p></li><li><p>Support the development of dashboards and automated reporting tools.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Projects & Continuous Improvement</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Lead or support IT projects including new system rollouts, upgrades, security improvements, and process automation.</p></li><li><p>Document procedures, workflows, and technical instructions.</p></li><li><p>Partner with operations leadership to evaluate technology needs and propose solutions.</p></li></ul><hr/><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><p>7+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or database management (warehouse/3PL experience preferred).</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting.</p></li><li><p>Experience with SQL Server databases.</p></li><li><p>Ability to write scripts or code for automation and system enhancements.</p></li><li><p>Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with warehouse technology (RF scanners, time clocks, label printers)</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul><hr/><h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Competitive salary and benefits-120k – 150k.annually</p></li><li><p>Growth and cross-training opportunities</p></li><li><p>A collaborative, operations-focused environment</p></li><li><p>The ability to make a direct impact on company efficiency and technology direction</p></li></ul><p/><hr/>
