In this role, you'll configure and deploy hardware, troubleshoot IT issues, and provide user support to empower staff across the organization. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A. **Please note to be considered for a position you must attach a resume, complete the application, and answer all screening questions. <h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy PCs, mobile devices, hardware peripherals, and software to staff locations.</li><li>Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, software, peripherals, and connectivity using in-person and remote tools. Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of IT tickets while providing guidance to junior IT staff.</li><li>User Training and Support: Provide end-user application training and ongoing support to staff as needed.</li><li>Systems Maintenance: Assist in system maintenance, networking, and infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Network Systems Manager or Information Systems & Security Manager.</li><li>Inventory and Organization: Manage the computer storage room and maintain accurate inventory records.</li><li>Customer Service Excellence: Uphold Chestnut Health Systems’ commitment to customer service excellence through professional communication and responsiveness.</li><li>Confidentiality and Security: Safeguard organizational data, including sensitive client and financial information, in alignment with company policies.</li><li>Additional Duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Minimum two years of IT support experience or an equivalent combination of an associate degree in a related field and/or professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar vendors).</li><li>Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, PC troubleshooting, and peripheral devices; familiarity with macOS is a plus.</li><li>Proven ability to install, configure, and support hardware and peripherals, including printers and scanners, as well as deploy and configure Windows OS client systems.</li><li>Working knowledge of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.</li><li>Self-motivated problem solver capable of independently diagnosing and resolving technical issues using documentation, web resources, and best practices.</li><li>Ability to lift 10–20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally for special projects.</li><li>Valid driver’s license, personal auto insurance, and eligibility for coverage under company insurance policies.</li><li>On-site position with the flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.</li></ul>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement? RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES<ul><li>Possess a firm knowledge of end-to-end management of an IT environment including Windows and Linux systems, virtualization, and storage.</li><li>Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN management systems, firewall management, switching, VPN systems, cellular communication systems, OSI Model, and mobile computing devices.</li><li>Understand basics of cable plants, fiber optic links, and the ability to manage wiring for network and non-network devices. These devices sometimes require the use of ladders or lifts.</li><li>Deep knowledge of IT Security principles, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Management of cloud-based systems.</li><li>Willingness to learn industry-specific systems and technologies.</li><li>Management of vendor-supported systems.</li><li>Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and dedication.</li><li>A professional and approachable demeanor.</li><li>Ability to work well with others in training, teaching and explaining use of hardware and software.</li><li>Ability to perform hardware installations and upgrades as well as software enhancements.</li><li>Working knowledge of telecommunications, VOIP phones, and analog telephony.</li><li>Occasional after-hours and on-call work.</li></ul> POSITION INTERACTIONNone.
