Overview:
The Temporary Service Technician plays a key role in supporting electric utility operations by providing field services related to customer accounts. Responsibilities include connecting, disconnecting, and changing electric meters; addressing overdue accounts; investigating customer service concerns; and identifying appropriate locations for meters, service connections, and area lighting. This position works directly with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient service delivery. The hourly rate for this position is $31.832. This is a bargaining unit position, and the successful candidate will be required to join IBEW Local 1600 in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. This is a temporary role, expected to last up to nine (9) months.
