The Charter Township of Chesterfield is now accepting applications for temporary staff to assist in election preparation. This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Voter registration- Absentee voter applications and ballots- Preparing election day materials and equipment- Packing precinct supplies- Data entry, filing - Other duties as assigned Requirements:- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and reports.- Ability to be flexible regarding performing duties as assigned, and be available to work extended hours, as necessary.- Ability to perform duties and process information and requests with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.- Ability to be organized, multi-task, and complete work within established timelines in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to conduct oneself with tact and courtesy.
