During residence hall checks, the guards should be mindful of and document all discrepancies such as unlocked suite doors, unusual activities, strangers or non-students, quiet hour violations, emergency conditions, vehicles thefts in parking areas, university property damage, visitation violations, disturbances, alcohol violations, drug violations, and/or other violations of university policy/student handbook. This position will also be responsible for monitoring access in each residence hall by checking IDs and Hall Entry Cards for each student that enters the building along with guest registration during the assigned work hours.
