Point of Care testing (POCT) per standing order/provider order. Completes Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) approved waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing in adherence to CLIA standards.   </li><li><br/></li><li>Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration.  </li><li><br/></li><li>Performs other duties as assigned such as medication refills, insurance authorizations, safety/regulatory log completion, patient messaging, medication/supply ordering, appointment scheduling, and referrals.   </li><li><br/></li><li>Demonstrates effective and timely communication, teamwork, and appropriate escalation.   </li><li><br/></li><li>Maintains a clean work environment ensuring instruments and equipment are cleaned appropriately. Ensures equipment and supplies are in working order, and areas are appropriately stocked.  </li><li><br/></li><li>May assist with training and onboarding of other teammates.  </li><li><br/></li><li>May serve as a role champion or on a committee.  </li><li><br/></li><li>Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
