By leading a team of drivers, the Transportation Manager will maximize efficiency and growth of market collections while ensuring safety. Qualified Transportation Manager candidates will have 5 years of transportation experience, including at least 2 years of management experience.

<p>We are growing and are looking for a talented Transportation Manager to join our team in Charlotte! <strong>The purpose of this position is to oversee textile collections for an assigned market. By leading a team of drivers, the Transportation Manager will maximize efficiency and growth of market collections while ensuring safety.</strong><strong>Qualified Transportation Manager candidates will have 5 years of transportation experience, including at least 2 years of management experience.</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities and duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Own movement of donation boxes in assigned areas - replacement, placement, removals.</li><li>Assist in identifying field growth opportunities for donation stations and bins.</li><li>Oversight of fleet maintenance in addition to maintenance of donation boxes and trailers throughout the market.</li><li>Partner with Store Managers to ensure inventory needs are met.</li><li>Conduct routine truck inspections to meet DOT requirements.</li><li>Coordinate collection growth activities with Collections Manager.</li><li>Assist with interviews for Drivers and Donation Attendants.</li><li>Conduct quarterly Driver audit surveillance, Donation Attendant audits, and ride-alongs.</li><li>Use TMS and CRM regularly for gathering information and documenting updates.</li><li>Rerouting for efficiency as needed, based on market conditions.</li><li>Assist with launching drivers and receiving at stores.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Management experience in the transportation industry.</li><li>At least 25 years of age</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Willing to submit to background check, drug screen and DOT physical.</li><li>Must be able lift up to 50 pounds regularly.</li><li>Regular bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing is required.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding work in heat, cold and wet conditions.</li></ul>
