You also understand board-level electronics, motor controllers and drives, safety systems, temperature controllers, industrial communication protocols, network configurations, electrical cabinet design, and a range of motor types including AC/DC, 3 phase, stepper, and servo. A bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on electrical engineering skills, or equivalent work experience, together with substantial hands-on experience troubleshooting machinery, will help you succeed in this role.
