Key aspects of this role will involve interpreting and understanding engineering requirements, creating conceptual designs and technical data packages (TDPs), integrating Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), performing first-order analyses, conducting engineering tests and preparing detailed test reports, as well as presenting during design reviews. Demonstrated expertise in areas such as mechanical subsystem packaging, materials science, thermal analysis, structural analysis, tolerance analysis, energetics principles, control systems, interconnect design, airframe development, or large assembly engineering.
