We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or successor organization.</li><li>Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in North Carolina required to start the assignment.</li><li>Minimum 6 months of recent occupational therapy assistant experience in home health, outpatient, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings is required.</li><li>Current CPR certification required. BLS from AHA or ARC preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to follow delegated treatment plans, document clinical notes and progress reports, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning.</li><li>Ability to fabricate/adapt assistive devices and design home program instructions for patients and caregivers.</li><li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel within an assigned geographic area for home health visits as required by the assignment.</li><li>Preferred: experience with community reintegration activities, home environment adaptations, or vocational/education program support.</li></ul> Assignment Details<ul><li>Facility Type: Home Health</li><li>Shift Name: Nights</li><li>Shift Pattern: 5x8</li><li>Assignment Type: Travel contract</li><li>Floating: May be required to float or travel within the client’s service area for home visits.</li></ul> Location HighlightsKing, NC offers convenient access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions.
