Head Electricain FLYNN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, LTD.Head ElectricainBurlington, VTManagerial Experience (Required) Practical knowledge of theatre production environment and previous experience in commercial or non-profit arts desired At least 5-7 years experience working as a Theatre Electrician Extensive knowledge of the operation and programming of electronic dimming and control systems, especially ETC dimming and controls (Sensor dimmers, ETC consoles) Working knowledge of CAD systems and lighting software interface Able to work well under pressure with concise deadlines and supervise crews of 10 or more at varied skill levels Position may require climbing to 50'+ theater grid, ceiling slots and working regularly from 30' personnel lift and various ladder heights. Basic Function The Head Electrician performs duties related to the safe and professional operation of the electrical and lighting systems used for productions while also supervising all other Electricians working on productions or performing maintenance.
