JOB NUMBER: 26-00770 JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Advanced Machinist Technician - 2nd Shift to work from their Scottsdale AZ facility. Utilizing your mechanical aptitude, the Advanced Machinist Technician will work from basic drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. You'll operate lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines, brakes and shears such as small lathes, power mills, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent plus Technical certificate or 3 years of experience or equivalent is required CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
