<div>Experienced Tool & Die Maker (Day Shift) Pay: $25+ based on experience</div><div> </div><div>HireCall is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a day shift opportunity with a top manufacturing client. This role is responsible for analyzing customer specifications, developing strip layouts, and building, assembling, and maintaining precision tooling used in production operations.</div><div> </div><div>Position Overview</div><div>The Tool & Die Maker will set up and operate machine tools and fabricate high-precision components such as metalworking dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauging systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and improve tooling performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</div><div> </div><div>Responsibilities</div><ul><li>Build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, strip layouts, and engineering drawings</li><li>Set up and operate manual shop equipment including:<ul><li>Lathes, Mills, Surface grinders, Drill presses, Saws</li></ul></li><li>Machine precision components to tight tolerances</li><li>Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools</li><li>Use CMMs and optical comparators for inspection and verification</li><li>Fit and assemble tooling components while checking alignments and clearances</li><li>Read basic hydraulic schematics and wiring diagrams</li><li>Maintain tooling documentation, repair logs, and preventative maintenance records</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area</li></ul><div>Qualifications</div><ul><li>Previous Tool & Die Maker experience required</li><li>Strong manual machining and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Experience with progressive dies preferred</li><li>Blueprint reading and precision measurement experience required</li><li>Stable work history and strong mechanical aptitude</li></ul><div>Work Details</div><ul><li><div>Shift: Day Shift</div></li><li><div>Pay: $25+ (based on experience)</div></li></ul><div><div>If you meet these requirements, call 918-933-5530 to schedule your interview with Teresa. The Senior Tool & Die Maker will build, repair, and maintain progressive, transfer, and/or line dies to ensure high-quality production and minimal downtime. This role requires strong machining knowledge, die troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. <hr/> Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Senior Tool & Die Maker role includes: <ul><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Build, assemble, and fit new dies according to engineering specifications and blueprints </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dies to maintain production quality </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Perform preventive maintenance on dies, tools, and fixtures </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment as needed </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Perform die spotting, tryouts, adjustments, and fine-tuning </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Diagnose tooling issues during production and implement corrective solutions </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Maintain documentation for repairs and maintenance activities </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards </li></ul><hr/> Required Qualifications <ul><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Minimum 5+ years of Tool & Die experience (building, repairing, maintaining dies) </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Strong ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Knowledge of stamping processes, die mechanics, and tool steels </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Skilled in machining, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and precision measuring tools </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> High School Diploma or GED required </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Technical training or apprenticeship preferred </li></ul><hr/> Work Environment & Physical Requirements <ul><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Manufacturing/production floor environment </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Ability to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Frequent standing, bending, and extended hand use </li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal;background:white"> Overtime may be required based on production needs </li></ul><hr/> If you are a highly skilled professional ready to take the next step in your career, apply today for the Senior Tool & Die Maker opportunity in Catoosa.
