<p>The School of Health Sciences of Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Biology Department beginning August 2026. Applicants must have a terminal degree in Biology or a related field demonstrated strength or a commitment toexcellence in teaching and a willingness to mentor undergraduate students in research. We seek candidates whose research teaching andor service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher education and particularly in Biology.Centenary College seeks candidates with a strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy who can teach in an introductory Biology course. Ideal candidates will also offer engaging courses in Ecology with preference given to those possessing expertise andor focus in molecular biology. The position provides the opportunity to develop at least two upper-level courses tailored to the candidates interests which may include topics such as conservation biology bioinformatics toxicology or population genetics.
